SCCA has been around since 1944 and annually holds a nationally televised championship race for national competitors who make the top 10 in their division. SCCA also holds regional races across the country as well.

Endurance Racing

The 24 Hours of LeMons is an endurance race for cars that cost $500 or less, minus safety equipment. The idea is to promote inexpensive endurance racing in a relaxed atmosphere.

Ice Racing

Offering 10 different classes, AMEC races on the frozen lakes of northern New York. Races are two heats of 20 minutes each to set up the grid for the feature race which is between 20 and 30 minutes long. Cars can run studded or studless snow tires, depending on their class.



 
 
 
 
Autocross

Based in Connecticut, CART uses slightly modified SCCA autocross rules and offers inexpensive racing for anybody who cares to come out to the race (discounted entry fee for members, of course).
